Chief Social Care Officer

Tameside Community Safety Partnership is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Principal Social Worker- Head of Safeguarding, Quality and Practice in Adult Social Care.
The successful candidate will hold the function of Principal Social Worker for Adults and be responsible for delivering the associated statutory functions, leading on CQC preparation and assurance.
You will lead the adult safeguarding, quality and practice functions in Tameside, overseeing the Local Safeguarding Adults Board, strategic safeguarding, Deprivation of Liberty safeguards, workforce development, and practice improvement activity across Adults Services.
About the Role- Delivering the associated statutory functions of the Principal Social Worker for Adults
- Leading on CQC preparation and assurance
- Leading the adult safeguarding, quality and practice functions in Tameside
- Overseeing the Local Safeguarding Adults Board
