Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Crystal Facilities Management Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting new clients, developing business opportunities and identifying potential clients in the aerospace and defence industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect for potential new clients and develop business opportunities.
  • Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's practice leaders/Principals.
  • Plan approaches and pitches.
  • Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
  • Must have knowledge of bid writing and working with Bid teams.
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service.
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
  • Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.

About You:

  • You will have 3-5 years of sales and business development experience.
  • You will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the market, the solutions/services we can provide, and of our competitors.
  • You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £35,000 per year
