Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to manage the purchase ledger and coordinate financial operations at Heidi Wright Recruitment.

About the Job
  • Oversee the processing of purchase orders and invoices, ensuring timely payment to suppliers.
  • Liaise with teams to secure prompt approval of purchase orders and invoices.
  • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers through effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly supplier statements, scheduling payments.
  • Coordinate weekly supplier payments and provide general administrative support.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Controller to optimise purchase ledger processes.
Essential Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable, managing the full AP function.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and technical skills.
Remuneration
  • A salary up to £30,000 per annum, based on experience.
  • Flexible working arrangement with 2 days remote work.
  • Employer pension contribution of 4%.
  • Holiday entitlement of 25 days plus 8 bank holidays.
  • Standard working hours with options for reduced hours.
