We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at Priory Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with mental illness and personality disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized care plans to optimize patient engagement and outcomes.
- Contribute to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress.
- Lead shifts and mentor student nurses and other team members.
- Follow all codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, relatives, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Good working knowledge of the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007.
- Experience in a related environment is essential.
- A competitive salary from £31,900 per annum.
- 25 days' annual leave (increasing with length of service to a maximum of 30) plus bank holidays.
