About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Priory Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals with mental illness and personality disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care to patients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and carers.
  • Contribute to comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, and monitoring progress.
  • Lead shifts and mentor student nurses, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Adhere to codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, upholding the rights of others and promoting ethical practice.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts.
  • Knowledge of the Adult Support and Protection (Scotland) Act 2007.
  • Experience in a related environment, with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
