About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Practitioner to join our team at St George's Hospital. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for the coordination and management of clinical research studies, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful delivery of our research portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage clinical research studies, including facilitating study set-up, identifying suitable patients, collecting data, and interviewing patients.
  • Work collaboratively with our research team and multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful delivery of our research portfolio.
  • Provide advice and information to patients, acting as their advocate and ensuring they are fully informed prior to entry into any clinical trial programme.
  • Evaluate patient eligibility and safe entry to clinical trials, coordinating investigations and arranging appropriate appointments according to trial protocol requirements.
  • Register and randomise patients into clinical trial protocols, ensuring adherence to UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research.
  • Act as an ongoing resource and support to patients and their carers, providing practical assistance and emotional support throughout the clinical trial process.
