Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Rail Division in Bristol. As a key member of our commercial and construction team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the commercial team in preparing tenders, variations, and valuations.
  • Prepare final accounts and attend site client meetings.
  • Liaise with site management to ensure timely application and invoicing.
  • Consider risk and opportunity, and manage cash flow effectively.
Requirements
  • Ability to effectively utilise Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong data manipulation and interrogation skills.
  • Full understanding of the Standard Method of Measurement.
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness and ownership.
  • Effective time management, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Completed or currently undertaking a qualification in Quantity Surveying (HND/HNC upwards).
  • Preferable to be studying towards Chartership.
