As a Materials Analyst at Newton Colmore Consulting, you will play a key role in developing and analyzing comprehensive patent landscapes to support business intelligence and patent analysis for a materials company based in Cambridge. Your responsibilities will involve monitoring competitor patent portfolios, combining outputs with other business analysis and intelligence, and maintaining IP department software licenses.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between the IP team and external search providers

Requirements:

A good understanding of chemistry or biochemistry and its applications within science and technology is essential for this role. Recent PhD graduates are preferred, but prior IP experience is also considered.
