About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in driving forward waste reduction programmes, compliant contracting, and supporting the sustainable and social economic agenda for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a proactive, efficient, and responsive procurement service, with particular emphasis on procuring value for money products and services contracts.
  • Generate non-pay savings for the Trust in accordance with cost efficiency targets.
  • Adhere to Procurement legislation and Trust Standing Financial Instructions, whilst awarding robust, compliant contracts with relevant and manageable KPI's.
  • Support CALM (Capital, Assets, Leasing and Maintenance) across all MFT sites.
  • Support on the Capital purchase, leasing, and maintenance of all medical equipment for the Trust.
