Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a vital role in driving forward our waste reduction programmes, compliant contracting, and supporting our sustainable and social economic agenda.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a proactive, efficient, and responsive procurement service, with particular emphasis on procuring value for money products and services contracts.
- Generate non-pay savings for the Trust in accordance with cost efficiency targets.
- Adhere to Procurement legislation and Trust Standing Financial Instructions, whilst awarding robust, compliant contracts with relevant and manageable KPI's.
- Support CALM (Capital, Assets, Leasing and Maintenance) across all MFT sites, including the Capital purchase, leasing, and maintenance of all medical equipment.
- Work collaboratively with Procurement colleagues across Greater Manchester as appropriate.
