Job Title: Front of House Porter

Location: London Bridge Hospital

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Porter to join our team at London Bridge Hospital. As a Front of House Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital, providing exceptional service to patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet patients on admission, escorting them to their room and showing them the facilities
  • Transport patients and equipment around the hospital
  • Provide a security service, including being part of the cardiac and fire response team
  • Perform waste duties, including the collection of clinical and recycling waste daily
  • Mail duties, including franking outgoing mail and distributing incoming mail and courier post
  • Office moves, including the movement of furniture and equipment around the hospital
  • Out of hours, responsible for changing medical gas cylinders

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Porter or in a customer service-focused role
  • A clean UK Driver's License is essential
  • Manual car driving is desirable
  • Good communication skills
