We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front of House Porter to join our team at The Wellington Hospital. As a Front of House Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hospital, providing exceptional service to patients, visitors, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing a proactive, friendly, and welcoming service to all patients, visitors, and third parties.
  • Meeting and greeting patients on admission, escorting them to their room, and showing them their room facilities.
  • Transporting patients and equipment around the hospital.
  • Providing a security service.
  • Participating in the cardiac and fire response team.
  • Performing waste duties, including the collection of clinical and recycling waste daily.
  • Handling mail duties, including franking outgoing mail, distributing incoming mail, and courier post.
  • Assisting with office moves, including the movement of furniture and equipment around the hospital.
  • Performing out-of-hours duties, including the changing of medical gas cylinders.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Porter or in a customer service-focused role.
  • A clean UK Driver's License is essential.
  • Manual Car Driving is desirable.
  • Good communication skills.
