Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified to join our team at a renowned Primary School in Richmond. As an Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with various Special Educational Needs, creating an inclusive and stimulating environment that fosters their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with specialist teachers, therapists, and inclusion staff to develop and implement tailored programmes for pupils with Autism.
  • Assist in managing the classroom environment, ensuring a safe and supportive space for all pupils.
  • Collaborate with the inclusion team to provide high-quality support and resources for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
  • Use your creativity and imagination to design engaging activities and programmes that cater to the diverse needs of pupils.
Requirements:
  • A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for all pupils to flourish.
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a Primary School setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality support and resources for pupils with Special Educational Needs.

  • A competitive daily rate of £105-£115.
  • A full-time, term-time only position, with the opportunity to work across EYFS (2-5-year-olds).
