Job Description Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Forensic Healthcare Practitioner to join our team in Telford. This temporary position offers a competitive salary of £30.00-£50.00 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including enhanced paternity leave, flexitime, referral programme, sick pay, and pension contributions.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  1. Provide high-quality healthcare services to individuals in custody, adhering to professional and legal guidelines.
  2. Conduct thorough forensic examinations and document evidence, as required by law.
  3. Collaborate with law enforcement and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safety and well-being of detainees.
  4. Develop and maintain accurate records, in compliance with legal and professional standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Registered General Nurse (RGN), Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), or Paramedic with current NMC/HCPC registration.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years post-qualification experience in acute, emergency, or forensic healthcare settings.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Location and Working Hours:

  • Location: Telford, United Kingdom
  • Working Hours: 4 shifts on, 4 shifts off, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
