Detained Healthcare Professional

NHS is seeking experienced healthcare professionals to join our team in providing high-quality care to detained individuals in Telford.

Salary: £40,000 FTE or £20 per hour for Bank staff

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Provide responsive and caring service to detainees, supporting custody staff in assessing healthcare needs.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and identify interventions to support detainees.
  • Collect forensic samples and conduct assessments for alcohol and drug intoxication.
  • Deliver forensic practitioner services, adhering to local protocols and codes of practice.
  • Maintain professional development through training and experience.
  • Participate in data collection for service audits and continuous improvement.
  • Develop positive relationships with consultant medical examiners and other stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
