About the Role
- We're seeking a skilled Electronics Parts Specialist to join our team and help us develop procedures to repair and reuse service parts that would otherwise be discarded.
- You'll work closely with local teams and suppliers to document and share best practices and procedures for reworking parts, and train and support them in performing reworks.
- As a key member of our team, you'll follow and promote our safety and quality standards in your work and when working with others to ensure used parts are safe and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the feasibility and methods of repairing service parts for various products and categories.
- Develop and document the optimal repair techniques and criteria for different types of parts.
- Communicate and disseminate the repair process and standards to local teams and suppliers.
- Train and assist local teams and suppliers in conducting reworks and monitor their performance.
- Work with quality specialists to ensure quality and safety standards are met in reworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in electronics / electrical engineering or equivalent higher technical qualification.
- First-hand technical experience with electronic components.
- Experience in diagnosis and repair of electronics.
- Experience in a Service, engineering, or manufacturing role.
