About the Role

Lakeside Healthcare Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Nurse to join our team. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality primary care services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including health education, health promotion, and disease prevention.
  • Conduct routine health checks, including blood pressure checks, urinalysis, and health screenings.
  • Administer medications, vaccinations, and other treatments as prescribed by the GP.
  • Assist with minor procedures, such as ear syringing, dressings, and removal of sutures.
  • Provide wound care and management, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Conduct health screenings, including cervical screening, and provide education and support to patients.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality care.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Experience in primary care nursing, preferably in a general practice setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
