About the Role

Bretton Park Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our team. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide routine and emergency care to patients, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and conducting health assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Conduct health education and promotion activities to empower patients to take an active role in their health and well-being.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (Nursing and Midwifery Council) qualification.
  • Experience in a primary care environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Flexibility to work outside of core office hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
