Global Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated National Account Manager to join our team at Brookwood Recruitment Ltd.
Salary: Circa £80,000 per annum
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key clients in the retail consumer electronics sector. This includes developing product and promotional strategies, establishing effective contacts within customer organizations, and negotiating terms with new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with key clients through regular communication and in-person meetings.
- Business Planning: Develop strategic plans to drive growth and expand distribution channels.
- Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain effective relationships with commercial, buying, supply chain, store support, and operations teams.
- Negotiations: Handle pricing, product range, and promotional discussions to secure internal approvals and meet sales targets.
- Forecasting and Budget Management: Monitor account performance, provide weekly updates, and manage budgets effectively.
- Operations Coordination: Collaborate with the operations team to ensure forecasts are met and aged stock is minimized.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and report to the Sales Leader and other departments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Product Management, Sales Administration, Customer Service, Logistics, Credit Control, and Finance.
- Market Intelligence: Gather insights on industry trends, product standards, and competitor analysis.
- Travel Requirements: Regular travel to meet clients and attend industry trade shows as required.
This role requires a proven ability to drive significant growth in the field, demonstrated through a history of successful retail partnerships with major outlets. The ideal candidate should have a proactive, driven attitude and be passionate about advancing the business.
