Transforming Medical Education through Technology

Simon Fraser University's School of Medicine is seeking a visionary technology leader to drive innovation and excellence in medical education. As the Associate Director, Medical Technology Solutions, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions that enhance the learning experience for our students and faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the optimization and implementation of technology solutions to support medical education across our distributed sites.
  • Manage technology budgets and drive innovative approaches to technical architecture.
  • Collaborate closely with faculty, clinicians, and community partners to ensure technology solutions align with the needs of modern medical education and operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Eight (8) years of related experience, preferably in post-secondary education or the public domain, with at least three (3) years managing or supervising operational teams.
  • Technical expertise in cloud computing platforms, hybrid cloud environments, database management, data integration, and cybersecurity.
