About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Technology Solutions Director to join our team in London.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solution architecture, technology consulting, software development, client engagement and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of Architecture solutions from establishing project requirements and goals, to solution 'go-live' across different industry sectors.
  • Find the right balance between innovation, technical feasibility and long term sustainability.
  • Partner with multi-disciplinary teams including delivery managers, product managers and development teams across different geographies.
  • Provide technical governance, architectural review/audit, architectural road-mapping and proactively develop and implement efficiency improvements.
  • Align with EPAM's leadership teams to identify new business opportunities by formulating and presenting the technology business cases to drive overall business strategy.
  • Create and present POCs, architecture proposals as well as provide pre-sales and RFP support within the framework of a technology consultancy.
Requirements
  • Proven experience acting as a hands-on Solution Architect with a strong foundation in Software Engineering.
  • Experience in a one or two industry sectors and ideally Financial Services/Banking or Insurance.
  • Experience with Microservice based architecture, designing enterprise services or integration capabilities using REST APIs and event-driven technology as well as leveraging native Cloud services.
  • Able to act as a SME to link technology with business value whilst guiding clients through the right technology choices suitable to their short and long term goals.
  • Ability to manage and lead teams of experts in technology consulting, architecture and design engagements.
  • Ability to demonstrate full commitment to providing exceptional customer care and service at all times.
  • Strong leadership skills to work comfortably with senior colleagues, up to and including C-level.
  • Experience and understanding of the Agile delivery.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role is essential.
  • Experience in pre-sales, RFP and POC activities.
