The Role

As a Community Living Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with our Housing Officers, other staff members, and external partners to deliver a comprehensive range of services, including case management, advocacy, and education.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional support and practical assistance to residents, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.">
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to develop and implement personalized support plans.">
  • Assist residents in accessing community resources and services, such as healthcare, education, and employment programs.">
  • Conduct home visits and assessments to identify resident needs and develop tailored support strategies.">
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures related to community living support.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in social care or a related field.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and stakeholders.">
  • Proven experience in case management, advocacy, or a related field.">
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.">
  • A valid driving license and ability to travel to various locations within Birmingham.">
