Job DescriptionThis role entails providing customer-focused support as an initial point of contact for IDT services. Key responsibilities include:
- Responding promptly to telephone, intranet, and email requests, highlighting operational problems to relevant support staff.
- Meeting Service Level Agreements to resolve all requests efficiently.
- Offering initial assistance and guidance to users.
- Entering requests accurately into the Service Management system and escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintaining secure user access by ensuring IDT assets are up-to-date in desktop hardware and software.
- Installing basic software on client equipment using Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager.
Working closely with desktop support teams fosters skills transfer and professional growth.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work independently. Familiarity with IT systems and technical knowledge are essential.
