Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pay and Reward Consultant to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive pay and reward strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a pay and reward policy that promotes equity, transparency, and fairness throughout the organization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executive team members, HR colleagues, and external partners.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform pay and reward decisions, using data to identify trends and statistically significant themes.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance colleagues to ensure the effective implementation of pay and reward policies and practices.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on pay and reward policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in pay and reward, applying this knowledge to inform our organization's strategy.

Requirements

  • Significant expertise in pay and reward policy development, interpretation, and application, and its link to and impact on wider people and organizational strategies.
  • Ability to develop strong, credible, and trusted working relationships in a quick timeframe with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Experience of consulting at all levels of an organization, using feedback to influence decision making and the development of options and proposals.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills with strong experience of resource and budget allocation and management.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, including pay modeling - working with data to identify trends and statistically important themes to inform thinking and decision making.
  • Able to translate technical language into plain English that is easy to understand.
  • Demonstrable ability to work autonomously to make key technical and operational decisions which align with organizational strategy.
