Job Overview

Spinwell is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Development Management Lead to join their team in a hybrid working environment based in Thrapston.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To implement the Council's policies and procedures regarding development control, ensuring an efficient and effective service for the public.
  • To negotiate and instruct legal advisors on the completion of S106 legal agreements.
  • To possess detailed knowledge of planning policies and procedures, including a recognized planning qualification and membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

Requirements:

  • Experience in negotiating with developers and preparing committee reports.
  • Ability to successfully handle significant planning applications and deliver excellent customer service under pressure.
  • Daily access to own transport is required.
  • Able to prepare committee reports and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
