About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Assistant to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Childcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nurseries.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop.
- Develop and implement engaging activities and role-play situations that promote independence and resourcefulness.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
- Contribute to the planning and preparation of resources and activities.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements
- Level 2/3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- General IT skills.
- Ability to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills to Level 2.
