About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated midwife to join our Antenatal Ward team. As a core midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the smooth operation of the ward.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert midwifery care to patients on the Antenatal Ward, including those with complex needs.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
- Contribute to the education and training of junior staff and students, promoting evidence-based practice and best care.
- Take on a lead role in a specific area of the ward, driving improvement and innovation.

Person Specification
Essential
- Registered Midwife (RM) and eligible to practice.
- Sound knowledge of recent Government/Professional documents and awareness of implications to service provision.
- Able to demonstrate motivation to maintain professional development.
Desirable
- Previous community and hospital experience.
- Ability to use flexible innovative approaches to practice individualized care.
