About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Apprentice- General Engineering professional to join our team at Silver Stone Search & Selection Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing reliability and overall site engineering capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the site engineering function, covering both the management of day-to-day reactive maintenance and planned maintenance activity.
- You will deliver against operational needs and provide a first-class service to internal customers.
- You will promote best practice, emphasizing the effective management of your team.
- You will facilitate and coordinate all team activities, offering support for their development.
Your Background
- An apprentice-trained or qualified engineer with experience managing an engineering team in a manufacturing environment.
- A flexible and hands-on approach to people management is essential.
- You should be happy to step in and support your team as needed.
- You will demonstrate accountability and effective delivery of goals, with broad engineering skills and a passionate approach that inspires your team.
- A self-motivated individual with high energy levels, you can calmly react to unexpected business demands to achieve desired results.
