Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Riverside Recruitment. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the school's facilities, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fulfil all site duties and checks in line with school guidance to ensure the site is safe and compliant.
  • Be the primary key holder and first point of contact for the alarms.
  • Maintain all compliance checks and records are updated and completed.
  • Monitor the performance of the cleaning staff.
  • Delegate tasks to outside contractors.
  • Liaise with the grounds maintenance contractor to ensure school grounds are kept to a high standard.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of the water mobility pool, including chemical management.
  • Monitor the day-to-day budgets in regard to repairs and cleaning products.
  • Arrange and supervise repairs, manage maintenance contracts, and improvement schemes, including obtaining quotes and monitoring work undertaken.
  • Attend regular meetings with the School Business Manager.
  • Ensure power tools, mechanical, and access equipment are inspected before use and are PAT tested as required.
Requirements

This role will be suited to a site manager/supervisor who has previously worked maintaining buildings/grounds within an education or care sector due to enhanced DBS checks.
