About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to children, young people, and families living with a range of rheumatological disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to children, young people, and families
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of psychology services across the hospital
  • Supervise and support junior staff members
  • Participate in research and audit activities to inform service development and improvement
Requirements
  • Good honours degree in Psychology
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology
  • Eligibility for Chartered status and membership of the Division of Clinical Psychology
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council as Practitioner Psychologist
  • Experience of working with children and young people with complex mental health needs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, carers, and other professionals
  • Skills in providing consultation and supervision to other professionals
