Parts Advisor - HGV Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Parts Advisor to join our team at Volvo Group. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and technicians, ensuring the efficient supply of HGV parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and storing parts in stockroom, maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Locating and labeling parts, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
  • Providing excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve maximum competency levels and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Participating in special projects and initiatives to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Valid driving license.
  • Ability to identify parts using catalogues and systems.
  • Strong numerical skills to work with part numbers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • IT literacy to competently use DMS and associated software systems.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and approachable attitude.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Flexible and positive approach to changing circumstances and priorities.
