About the Role

We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a SEN setting in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering 1:1, paired and small group support to students with challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a physically safe environment while following risk assessments as appropriate
  • Act as a positive role model for students across the school
  • Support students to express themselves and gain better communication skills
  • Deescalate outbursts of disruption with students aged 11 to 16
About the School

Our school provides specialist provision for learners aged 7-18 who have struggled with formal mainstream education. We offer a tailored approach to learning, including a standard curriculum and alternative education programmes such as construction, hair and beauty, and mechanics.

Our students receive a lot of 1:1 support, and we are looking for someone who can provide a safe and supportive environment for them to thrive.
