Job Title: Academic Office Officer

Aspire People is currently recruiting for a School Attendance Officer to work on a temporary-permanent basis in a Secondary School based in Castle Donington. The role is full-time and requires the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor whole school attendance, persistent absence, and punctuality.
  2. Continuously monitor attendance for students and identify those who require support.
  3. Liaise with Senior Leadership Team, Heads of House, Tutors, SENCo, inclusion team, and other relevant staff regarding students of concern.
  4. Raise attendance issues with parents and meet with students and parents to support them in improving attendance.
  5. Meet with Education Welfare Officer on a weekly basis and refer students who are not meeting attendance targets.
