Attendance Officer Opportunity

Aspire People is seeking an experienced Attendance Officer to join our team in a Secondary School based in Castle Donington. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring whole school attendance, persistent absence, and punctuality.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor and analyze attendance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  2. Collaborate with Senior Leadership Team, Heads of House, and Tutors to develop strategies for improving attendance
  3. Identify students who require support with their attendance and develop personalized plans to address their needs
  4. Liaise with parents and carers to raise attendance issues and work together to find solutions
  5. Meet with students and parents to discuss attendance concerns and provide guidance on how to improve
  6. Work closely with the Education Welfare Officer to ensure effective communication and coordination
  7. Refer students who are not meeting attendance targets to relevant support services
