Aspire People is currently recruiting for a School Attendance Officer to work on a temporary-permanent basis in a Secondary School based in Castle Donington. The role is full-time and requires the ability to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor whole school attendance, persistent absence, and punctuality.
- Continuously monitor attendance for students and identify those who require support.
- Liaise with Senior Leadership Team, Heads of House, Tutors, SENCo, inclusion team, and other relevant staff regarding students of concern.
- Raise attendance issues with parents and meet with students and parents to support attendance improvement.
- Meet with Education Welfare Officer on a weekly basis and refer students not meeting attendance targets.
