Job Title: Employment Advisor

Standguide is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Advisor to join our team. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals in securing sustainable employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attract, register, and guide participants towards successful placements
  • Utilize diagnostic skills, individual and group coaching, and optimize available funding to empower individuals to secure employment
  • Build and maintain relationships with Job Centre Plus and other relevant partners to ensure participants are aware of our services
  • Sign participants up to the program, explain our service offering, and manage participant expectations
  • Develop and manage participants' job goals using creative techniques and deep-level questioning
Requirements:
  • Level 2 English and Maths as a minimum
  • Experience of working in a performance target-driven environment
  • Strong administration skills, good computer/technology skills, and basic numeracy skills
  • Personal interests include interest in people and willingness to learn
  • Full UK driving license as the role requires travel
