We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Holme Lacy House Hotel, part of the Warner Leisure Hotels group.

About the Role

As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchens, working closely with the Executive Chef to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen staff, including training, development, and performance management.
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering, stock control, and waste reduction.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas, ensuring they meet the company's branding and quality standards.
  • Contribute to the development of the kitchen team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
