Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Support Specialist to join our Exchange Clearing Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day clearing and exchange reconciliation tasks, while also contributing to a variety of projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform T+1 exchange reconciliations, including troubleshooting and break resolution.
  • Manage trader/market/trading platform on- and offboarding.
  • Ensure trades are booked in a timely manner and accurately reflected in our ETRM systems.
  • Manage trade lifecycle related events.
  • Perform daily margin related tasks and initial margin scenario modeling.
  • Complete ad-hoc tasks and project work.
  • Document and maintain documentation of Exchange Clearing processes as needed.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams, exchanges, and clearing brokers to optimize trading costs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in commodities (European Power and Gas, LNG, Crude Oil, and Refined products) or exchange clearing.
  • Experience handling large datasets.
  • Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle.
  • Operational risk and control knowledge.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Drive to understand the bigger picture.
  • Strong technical skills (Excel, VBA, formulas, and lookups, pivot tables).
  • Good prioritization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
