About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reconciliation Analyst to support our client, a fast-growing FinTech company in the UK, with the implementation of their new reconciliation system. This role will involve working closely with the operational team to reconcile banking and payments transactions, as well as supporting the implementation of the new system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve processes, maintain and increase reconciliation adaptability, and introduce controls.
  • Perform automation work and support new product projects alongside cross-functional teams.
  • Support the implementation of reconciliation systems (internal, external).
  • Support Reconciliation leadership with ad-hoc tasks and regular critical metric dashboards.
  • Be an SME in reconciliations, systems, and tools of online payment transactions, applying commanding knowledge of clearing and settlement processes to balance priorities in project delivery.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a numerical subject or 2+ years' work experience in reconciliations in a high-volume transaction environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and working with Excel at pace.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets with skill and confidence.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in an evolving environment and often shifting priorities.
  • Ability to self-manage individual projects of high complexity and automate manual tasks within the team or department.

The contract is initially for 2 months with an immediate start.
