Join Our Team as an Assembly Manager

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions is a leading provider of innovative solutions for the electronics industry. We are seeking an experienced Assembly Manager to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our assembly operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards
  • Drive EHS training and communication throughout the site, planning, and providing relevant inductions and training courses for employees and contractors
  • Establish safety audits, site walks, and inspections to encourage ongoing improvement in environmental and safety standards
  • Design and implement environmental management systems
  • Establish a comprehensive program of risk assessments for all operational activities, including documentation and training needs
  • Provide reports for senior management on current safety initiatives
  • Ensure the health and safety of all personnel through management of risk assessment programs
  • Maintain and ensure the application of HSE policies and procedures in line with company requirements and legislative changes
  • Liaise effectively with regulatory authorities on all environmental and health and safety issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field
  • NEBOSH General Diploma qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the chemicals industry
  • Experience of carrying out and documenting risk assessments and environmental management
  • Experience in environmental management
  • Training in accident and incident investigating and reporting
  • Competent in writing Safe Working Procedures and carrying out risk assessments
  • Ability to work alone and manage own workload
  • Strong time management skills
  • Flexible attitude due to varying day-to-day requirements
