**SEMICONDUCTOR & ASSEMBLY SOLUTIONS (SAS)**
As a global supplier to the semiconductor industry, we provide advanced copper interconnects, die attachment, wafer bump processes, solder technologies, fluxes, cleaners, and other attachment materials for the integrated circuit fabrication, semiconductor packaging, and electronic assembly industries. Our products touch nearly every facet of modern life and enable smart devices, phones, computers, electric vehicles, and more to function properly. SAS consists of three distinct business units (Circuit Board Assembly, Semiconductor Assembly, and Wafer Level Packaging) which are positioned to meet our customers’ ever-changing needs. **Job Purpose**:
As a Production Blender you will be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day blending, production and labelling of intermediate and finished goods in the Production Department in order to meet the required production levels and customer requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up, operate, and tend machines to mix/blend materials as per production specification, including the weighing/measuring of materials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance to requirements.
- Accurately complete paperwork detailing the ingredients used in each blend along with all additional instructions and sign offs.
- Adhere to the production schedule as laid out by the Production Supervisor.
- Identify and, in consultation with the Production Supervisor, Production Chemist or Production Manager, initiate improvements in the manufacturing process in terms of quality, cost, yield and production throughput.
- Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping in the production areas.
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and the requirements as laid down in the Health and Safety Policy.
- Immediately report any accidents or injuries involving production personnel and ensure that appropriate first aid treatment is received.
- Complete training on topics such as health and safety, occupational health, and other identified corporate training courses.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a Blending role is desirable, although full training will be given.

**Skills**:

- Organised and methodical, with a high level of attention to detail
- Good housekeeping practices
- Positive communicator
- Ability to work from own initiative

**Competencies**:

- Numerate
- Ability to understand written instructions

**Working Pattern**:
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7.30 am to 4.15 pm with a 30 minute lunch break, and Friday 7.30 am to 12 noon.
