About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions. As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in scaling up processes, optimizing manufacturing operations, and driving innovation and improvement across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scale up processes from R&D to manufacturing, ensuring seamless transition and effective implementation
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Source, specify, and install new equipment and machinery, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Develop and implement manufacturing and testing processes, focusing on safety, quality, and repeatability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing and quality problems, and develop solutions to improve processes and products
  • Develop and teach operating procedures, ensuring effective training and capability building for operators and blenders
  • Implement innovative ideas to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost, and drive business growth and competitiveness
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial engineering, or similar related degree or proven relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing production processes, preferably in a chemical blending environment
  • Experience of different chemical blending processes, and managing complex and varied projects
  • Sound knowledge of a wide variety of production equipment, and ability to develop and write processes for manual instructions and HMI systems
  • Strong core project management skills, including planning, risk management, and stakeholder management
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with proficient numeracy, written, and verbal skills
  • Strong understanding of technology to improve services, and basic finance principles (budgets, ROI, etc.)
  • Ongoing commitment to training and continuous personal development
Competencies
  • Highly developed understanding of project management principles and practice
  • Ability to form effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Leadership and people management skills, with awareness and practice of lean methodologies
  • Ability to manage change and influence, with strong team player skills
