About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance and Operations Coordinator to join our team at Innovate Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, managing plant breakdowns, and ensuring effective operation of facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and perform scheduled maintenance tasks, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Maintain plant equipment, water systems, electrical distribution, fire alarms, air conditioning, BEMS/Trend systems, and process chillers.
  • Provide on-call support for plant breakdowns and out-of-hours maintenance on a rotating schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE, COSHH, and company governance standards, maintaining high standards of quality and delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal customers and team members to resolve plant-related issues and optimize facility performance.
  • Develop and implement best practices and adopt new technologies to improve facilities management.

Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years' facilities maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Experience with water systems, electrical distribution (up to 415v; 11kv is a plus), fire alarms, air conditioning, BEMS/Trend systems, and process chillers.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum.
