This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker to join the staff bank at NHS Ayrshire and Arran.

As a member of our team, you will have the flexibility to work on an as-and-when basis, with varying hours to suit your lifestyle and availability. Our electronic booking system allows you to choose shifts that fit your schedule.

To be eligible for this role, you must be a current 1st Year Nursing and Midwifery or AHP student, or studying a health-related subject such as HNC (Health and Social Care) or SWAP. You should also be studying at one of the following institutions: Ayrshire colleges, UWS, University of Glasgow, Glasgow Caledonian University, Stirling University, or Open University.

We are looking for candidates who possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This is an excellent opportunity for students seeking to gain valuable experience in a healthcare setting while balancing academic commitments.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £18,000-£22,000 per annum, depending on the specific role and location. Please note that we require all prospective employees to have the relevant permission to work in the UK, and we will check entitlement to work prior to employment.
