Software Development Engineer in Test Specialist

To drive this progress, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our agile development team as a Software Development Engineer in Test. This role will involve contributing to the development of feature-driven testing and quality assurance processes for complex web-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality software products as part of an agile team, ensuring their reliability and stability through automated testing processes
  • Advocate for build quality and test automation throughout the development lifecycle, influencing team members to adopt best practices
  • Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts under the guidance of the Test Lead
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, software testing principles, and industry-standard ALM tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub)
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java and/or JavaScript) for writing and maintaining test scripts, with the ability to adapt to new languages quickly
  • Ability to test APIs and web services to ensure they function correctly within the application
  • Understanding of databases and SQL for validating data integrity and performing back-end testing
