Network and Systems Administrator

A well-established organisation is seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join their team in Camberley, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure and experience with Windows Server.
This role would suit candidates with a background in IT support, network management, or infrastructure engineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising network performance, delivering IT support services, and contributing to the delivery of major upgrades to the core network infrastructure.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing 2nd and 3rd line support to internal and external users.
- Managing the helpdesk system – allocating jobs to technicians.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT equipment.
- Maintaining the network, including Wi-Fi and configuring switches.
- Managing user access, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Azure.
- Firewall management (CISCO and HP) and server configurations (Windows 2012 R2 and 2016).
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and in addition to the above will have experience with:
- Office 365
- SharePoint
- Virtual environments (VMWare and Hyper-V)
- Printer solutions (Papercut MF)
- Anti-virus solutions, including Sophos
- VOIP telephone systems
- CCTV and access control systems
The salary on offer is up to £47,500 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
