As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for optimising network performance and delivering IT support services to users across the organisation. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of major upgrades to the core network infrastructure and cloud transformation, providing your input into long-term strategy in this area. This is a newly created role within the organisation, making it an exciting time to join the team.

Your key responsibilities as an IT Engineer will include:

  1. Providing 2nd and 3rd line support to internal and external users.
  2. Managing the helpdesk system – allocating jobs to technicians.
  3. Installing, configuring and maintaining IT equipment.
  4. Maintaining the network including Wi-Fi and configuring switches.
  5. Managing user access including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and Azure.
  6. Firewall management (CISCO and HP) and server configurations (Windows 2012 R2 and 2016).

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and in addition to the above will have experience with Office 365, SharePoint, virtual environment (VMWare and Hyper-V), printer solutions (Papercut MF), anti-virus solutions including Sophos, VOIP telephone systems, and CCTV and access control systems. The salary for this role is up to £36,000 per annum, making it a competitive offer for professionals in the industry.
