Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Transition Manager to join our dynamic team at BAE Systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead the transition of services, ensuring seamless delivery and optimal availability.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing service transition plans, working closely with project managers, programme leads, and customers to deliver high-quality services.

A strong understanding of IT Service Management, Service Design, and Service Transition Management is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement service transition plans to ensure smooth delivery of services
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality services
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between teams
  • Lead the transition of multiple projects within a programme
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of IT Service Management, Service Design, and Service Transition Management
  • Experience in leading service transition activities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to produce high-quality documentation using Microsoft Office and Visio
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000, depending on skills and qualifications, as well as a range of benefits including a pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and access to additional perks such as flexible working and employee discounts.
