Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our clinical and medical oncology teams as a Cancer Care Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients diagnosed with cancer.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist the CNS/ACP team with the facilitation and implementation of Holistic Needs Assessment within the disease group.
  • Provide administrative support to the ACP/CNSs, including booking and outcome telephone clinic appointments.
  • Maintain the patient database and ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Order supplies and patient information as requested by the CNSs.
  • Organize and prioritize the designated workload to meet the needs of the service.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and health and social disciplines.

Requirements
  • GCSE English Language and Mathematics or equivalent qualification.
  • NVQ Level 3/equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Experience working within the oncology setting.
  • Experience of multi-professional working.
  • Experience of providing administrative support.
