About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our clinical team as a Cancer Care Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing administrative support to our ACP/CNS teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the ACP/CNS teams, including maintaining patient databases and ensuring accurate information.
  • Book and manage telephone clinic appointments, and assist with the management of patient pathways.
  • Organize and prioritize workload to meet the needs of the service, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Triage telephone and email enquiries, using a risk assessment framework, and provide general information and support about cancer services.
  • Signpost patients and relatives to appropriate services, and demonstrate the ability to recognize situations that require rapid response from a healthcare professional.
Requirements
  • GCSE English Language and Mathematics or equivalent qualification.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Experience working within the oncology setting, and experience of multi-professional working.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, and manage and prioritize personal workload using own initiative.
